• The skin is the largest organ in the body and protects us from infection, viruses and bacteria• EB is a genetic skin condition (it cannot be 'caught') and the most serious form only occurs when two gene carriers have a child together

• The skin blisters have to be lanced & dressed every day taking up to three hours
• EB is currently incurable
